In one part of the church visitors can notice some really old engraved coat of arms. The bell dates back from the 18th century.

The Red Castle

As previously mentioned, the Red Castle is located east near the North Sea. It is believed that the first fortified structure at this site was built by William The Lion in the 12th century as a defensive structure against Viking raids.
