St. Swithun’s Church

According to local historians, there was an old church in this place before the 10th century (back in these days Bathford was known as Forde). What is known for sure is that the current church includes elements that are older than 250 years. The church features and interesting tower and six bells inside the tower. There is a memorial in honor of Ann, sister of the Lord Admiral Nelson in the churchyard.

Bathford Railway Bridge

This is another interesting attraction in this area. It was finished in 1841 and it was part of the Great Western Railway. Today it serves as an entrance to the central part of Bathford village.
