St Peters is an area of Broadstairs, a town situated in the Isle of Thanet in Kent. Historically, St Peters was a village but it was outgrown by a long, dominant settlement of Broadstairs after 1841. It was once said to be the largest parish east of London, but that changed when Broadstairs became a separate parish on 27 September 1850. Broadstairs and St Peters were formally merged into one in 1895.

During this tour, you will see the flint built church and get to know about its long history. You will also find out about the conditions of the workhouse, as well as learn about the Newbolts breakfast concerts, the tower used in the Napoleonic wars and some famous – and infamous – residents. Plus, you'll learn the ancient seat of local government for the area.

The churchyard in town is one of the longest in the country. During this tour, guides will be leading you through the graves and sharing stories about the very interesting local residents.
