Flower Delivery to Hesketh Lane, Lancashire
Hesketh Lane is an area within the small Hesketh Bank village in Lancashire, England. It is located close to Southport on the place where River Ribble enters the Irish Sea. This area falls under hesketh-with-Becconsall Parish for parochial purposes and under West Lancashire Borough Council for administrative matters. Because of the fertile ground (the area is practically part of the Irish Sea Estuary) people here were involved in agricultural work since ancient times. This tradition has continued today and most of the population here works in the agricultural industry. People are especially focused on farming of vegetables and flowers. This area has a history that’s typical for Lancashire and one of the most dramatic events that took place in Hesketh Lane was during the World War 2. This is the period when Preston and Liverpool, cities that are very close to Hasketh Lane, were intensively bombarded by the German forces and many buildings in Hasketh Lane (including the main church) were damaged too.

It was actively used until 1926 when another church was built in this area. This is primarily a stone church known for its simple yet beautiful style. Becconsall Old Church is now listed as a Grade II building and it is maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust.
All Saints Church
This is actually the church that replaced the old church and it was completed in 1936. It was designed by the famous architect from Lancaster – Henry Paley. The tower high tower dominates the appearance of this church.
