The History of Stradsett

Sir Jeremy Bagge was the original resident of the village and he was the 7th Baronet. He was also known as the High Sheriff of Norfolk. The entire parish was created for William Bagge in 1867, later being taken over by Sir Jeremy Bagge. Little activity occurred in the area for most of its existence as it was located far enough away from major municipalities. It has always been seen as an agricultural area that focuses mainly on farming and residing peacefully.
