Everdon is located about two miles south of Daventry. To the village's north of the hamlet of Little Everdon and to the south is the village of Snorscombe. Canons Ashby House – one of the oldest houses in Northamptonshire and home of the Dryden family since the 16th century. It is owned by the National Trust and features Elizabethan wall paintings and Jacobean plasterwork. The house is set in parkland that has formal gardens and terraces, a medieval church and The Old Brewhouse tearoom.

Althorp – a Grade I listed stately home held by the Spencer family for more than 500 years. It was the home of Lady Diana Spencer who later on married Charles, Prince of Wales. It is open to the public during July and August.

Sulgrave Manor – ancestral home of the Washingtons which includes the great-grandfather of George Washington, John. The house features Tudor and Georgian designs and gives you a glimpse of the life the Washington family lived.
