Earls Croome is a small village located in the county of Worcestershire in central England. It is also a civil parish and part of the Malvern Hill District. The village had several names during its existence which probably stretches for more than 10 centuries. During the 11th century this village was known as Crumbe, after that several variations of this name were used including Erles Crowme, Erles Crombe, Irliscroome etc.
The village lies close to the left bank of the Severn. The parish itself covers an area of about 1.150 acres. Most of the area is covered with permanent grass and arable land and only a small portion of it is woods and plantations.
It is interesting that in the late 14th century Henry de Ardern, a member of the Parliament, was granted the manor Croome Adam which is now known as the Earls Croome by the Earl of Warwick.
Other than these facts, this village is more or less the same as the rest of the villages in Worcestershire.
