About Us

Clare Florist was started in 1978 in Scotland by the Marshall family. It is named as such athe site of their first small green grocer and florist was in East Claremont St, Edinburgh. 

Its was one of the first florists to go online with the first ever online order being on 8th July 1996. 

The online success meant that the physical stored and even the wholesale side were sold and Clare Florist became an only online florist. 

After just more than 50 years of Trading in Scotland, the business was relocated to Berkshire in England in 2024. 

2026 sees Clare celebrating 30 years online. The wealth and experience that has been accumulated over these years, in perfecting the customer journey, means that Clare Florist is acclaimed now as one of the UK's longest established, trusted and respected online florists.
