The Blaengarw Time Centre is a time bank that was the largest in Europe and it was founded in 2006. It is run by the Creation Group Development Trust bank and it was located in Blaengarw workmen’s hall. The company later went into voluntary insolvency towards the end of 2013. A lot of much needed repair and maintenance work is currently going on there and it is being carried out by the Bridgend County Borough council. They are also looking for a new partner who will be a good fit to take over the administration of the facility in an accountable and dependable way.
