Llanrhos is a village in the Conwy County Borough.  The Llanrhos parish includes Deganwy, the Craig-y-Don district of Llandudno, the Little Orme and Penrhyn Bay.  The parish church is dedicated to St. Hilary and is in the diocese of St. Asaph.  The church went through many renovations in 1865, however many roof beams and other features from a past medieval church were included in the renovations.  The current church is believed to be located on the site of the original mid 6th century church of Maelgwn Gwynedd.  

The historic mansion of Gloddaeth Hall was where Iorwerth Goch of Creuddyn lived.  In 1935, the mansion became a girls’ boarding school until it closed in 1964.  In 1965, the mansion reopened as the Saint David’s College for Boys.  The college is now a co-educational facility.  

The ruins of Cadwallon Lawhir’s 5th century A.D. residence can be found on top a woodland knoll above the current Bodysgallen Hall.  Cadwallon Lawhir was a King of Gwynedd and he ruled either during or after the Battle of Mons Badonicus.  

The Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery is where the community can go to pay their respects to loved ones and it is often a place for contemplating, reflecting and studying the history of the area.  The cemetery has recently added memorial gardens, a woodland burial site and multi-faith sections.  The Children’s Memorial Garden features a sculpture of a mother and child.  This memorial garden commemorates all of the children who have tragically died in the community.  

The Transport Festival is held in Llandudno every year and features many buses and trams.  It is held alongside the spectacular Victorian Extravaganza.  The North Wales Choral Festival is held every winter.
