Located within two miles north-east of Bere Regis and six-and-a-half miles south-east from Blandford is the small parish of Winterborne Kingston. The parish is situated in a winterbourne valley located on the edge of the dip slope of the Dorset Downs.

HISTORY

Icknield Street, which was a prehistoric route then later used by the Romans, passes through the village. Later on, ploughed fields revealed several artefacts of Roman origin.
