The popular town of Richmond is located to the south west of London. Whilst it was historically part of Surrey it now falls under the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames, the capital's most affluent borough. Richmond Park is the largest of the London Royal's Parks and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Created as a deer park by Charles I, it remains open to traffic during daylight hours.

With so much open space it is no surprise that Richmond offers much in the way of leisure activities. From swimming to athletics, football to pitch and putt, cricket to cycling, there is plenty to suit every taste.
