An attractive town set in the Inverclyde area of Scotland, Greenock lies neatly on the bank of the Clyde River, from which it draws much of its proud history. Well served by good transport links, Greenock has no less than nine railways station, pipped to the post only by big cities Edinburgh and Glasgow. Bus routes throughout the town are frequent and efficient, covering most of the area. Added to this, Greenock is well placed for drivers, with easy access to the A8 road and M8 motorway from Edinburgh.
