Church of St. Michal

This is another attraction located about one mile from the center of Town Green. It is believed that this church was built in the 12th century and it has witnessed many transformations and upgrades through the centuries that followed. Unfortunately, very few items that were used in the original church are now available. But, even without them the church looks beautiful and it has a beautiful tall tower.

Lancaster Castle

Although this attraction is not part of Town Green it is located close to it (about 6 miles). Today Lancaster Castle is a working court and prison, but people who are interested in visiting and having a tour can still do that. There is a 1-hour long guided tour where people can see the old cells, an impressive collection of heraldry and Hadrian’s Towers.

Leighton Hall
