Stenigot is a village that is located in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire.  The village can be found within Lincolnshire Wolds, which is a range of hills that has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The parish church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas and the building is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1892.  The church was built with red brick and limestone.  A plaque that memorializes Francis Velles de Guevara as well as a monument memorializing Sir John Guevara is located at the church. 

One of the more popular historical sites in the village is the RAF Stenigot.  The RAF Stenigot was a radar station during the Second World War and it was used to provide warning of raids during the war.  In 1959, it was turned into a communications relay site until the 1980s.  Most of the station was demolished in the 1990s however the radar tower is still standing.  The radar tower is now a Grade II listed structure and is currently used for tests for possible recruits at the RAF Aerial Erector School.  Anyone who wants to go onto the site will not be able to enter through the entrance gates, because they are locked.  People can access the site by following the road that is located to the West until they reach a public footpath that leads to the site.

Stenigot Park is a beautiful place to spend part of a day or the entire day.  It is a perfect spot for a picnic lunch or for a stroll along the paths. 

Every year, there is a festival that begins in the village of Donington-on-Bain and ends at the Gunby Estate.  The sixteen day festival offers 113 walks that the community and visitors can participate in.  Everyone gets to see the beauty and everything else that the Lincolnshire Wolds Area has to offer.  Many of the walks are free, but if there is a cost for one, it is always a donation to a wonderful organization.
