Based in West Yorkshire, the lovely spa town of Ilkley lies within the Yorkshire Dales and is perpetually popular with tourists. Its spa town reputation was sealed in the 19th century, when Charles Darwin famously took hydropathical treatment there whilst visiting his family.

Ilkley is easy to access by car, situated near to the M62, the M1 and the A1, with the town itself lying on the A65 between Leeds and Kendal. There are two railway stations in the town - Ilkley Terminus and Ben Rhydding, with trains running between Ilkley and Leeds/Bradford Forster Square station. Bus services to and from the town run between Ilkley and Malham, Otley, Bradford, Skipton and Keighley and the nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport.
