Crab Spiders that Hide in Flowers

With the nation sitting rapt in front of Africa, David Attenborough's latest wonderful cute-wildlife-and-epic-scenery-fest, we're taking a closer look at an amazing animal which loves to hide in flowers.

The crab spider is so called because of its angular body, and the way that it likes to scuttle sideways - just like a crab. But crab spiders are also known for something else - the way it uses flowers to help itself to hunt. These amazing spiders can even change colour to match the petals of the flower which they are sitting in. 

And then, having hidden themselves among the petals, they lie in wait until a tasty insect lands nearby.
