Flowers for Palm Sunday

This Sunday, the 13th of April, is an important date in the Christian calendar as that is the day of Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is a feast to commemorate Jesus' entry into into Jerusalem as described in the bible. Palm Sunday is often referred to as Passion Sunday, and it marks the start of the Holy Week which ends on Easter Sunday.

Typically palm branches would be used to represent palm branches which were scattered in front of Jesus. Naturally it can be hard to find palm branches at this time of the year, and so many people instead use branches from willow or olive trees instead, with many people calling Palm Sunday Branch Sunday.

Whilst we don't have any palm trees in stock(!) perhaps you would like to decorate your home to celebrate palm Sunday with some beautiful flowers? We have a great collection of Spring Flowers which can be used to brighten up your home this Sunday.
